Friarielli in sunflower oil, vacuum-packed, stored in MAP trays or in glass jars of various formats.
Friarielli, as turnip greens are known in Naples, are typical broccoli from the Campania region, whose origin dates back to the beginning of the XIII century. According to many people, the name derives from the Neapolitan verb “frjere”, which means “to fry” and that’s because in most recipes friarielli are fried in a pan with garlic and abundant extra-virgin olive oil.
As a side dish, with pasta or on pizza, friarielli are always delicious and everybody love them. A guarantee!
